It’s the perfect West Australian holiday park location to stop and recharge your batteries amongst the peace and solitude and magnificent scenery. We offer 150 grassed, shaded powered sites and 50 unpowered sites, all with fresh water on tap. If you don’t want to camp, try our self-contained accommodation.
Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park has accommodation near Port Hedland which has access to a laundry, fresh water, power, shady lawns, barbecues and clean ablution blocks. For the convenience of our visitors and guests, we also have a well-stocked mini-mart selling basic groceries, ice-cream, bait, ice, tackle, and frozen meat, bread and vegetables.
Fresh bread is available during the peak months of May to September, when you are also welcome to join us on the veranda for morning tea - home-made scones, jam and cream and freshly brewed coffee and tea.
Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park includes clean and spacious amenities including toilets and showers to all park guests. The ablution amenities block is located close to our 150 powered camping sites and 50 unpowered camping sites.
Visitors staying in one of our cabin accommodation options at Eighty Mile Beach can enjoy air-conditioned comfort during the day and heating for cold nights. Extra blankets can also be provided for all beds if required - please speak to park staff when booking.
Cook up your catch of the day or a family breakfast with our shared barbecue area, available to all park guests. While our park staff maintain this barbecue, please be courteous of other park guests and clean down the barbecue after use.
Our guests at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park can make use of our shared campers kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with free gas BBQs and a sink with hot and cold water.
After using our coin-operated laundry facilities, park guests have access to a shared clothe lines to help you dry your clothes. Alternatively, coin-operated dryers are available to guests staying at our tourist park.

Do you need a four wheel drive to access Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park? What is the road into 80Mile like, is it suitable for 2WD cars?
Nope! Access to Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park is via Eighty Mile Beach Road, a 10km unsealed gravel road that intersects with Great Northern Highway. Though it is a dirt road, it is generally well graded and kept in good condition, suitable for 2WD cars, as well as motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers.
Can you swim at Eighty Mile Beach?
The 220km of uninterrupted white sand and bright turquoise water of Eighty Mile Beach is oh-so inviting for swimmers! Before you dive in, make sure you are aware of the risks:

Can you purchase fuel on site?
No. There is no fuel available for purchase at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park. The nearest fuel is at Sandfire Roadhouse, roughly 53kms north on the way to Broome, or otherwise roughly 104kms towards Port Hedland at Pardoo Roadhouse, or otherwise in Port Hedland. We recommend that travellers fuel up whenever possible, consider carrying emergency fuel in portable jerry cans and checking their roadside assistance is up-to-date.
Is there mobile phone reception at Eighty Mile Beach?
Yes. Both Telstra and Optus mobile phone reception is available at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park. It is mostly 3G and 4G.
When is the turtle nesting season at Eighty Mile Beach?
October to March. Eighty Mile Beach is an important nesting ground for the Flatback turtle, who only nest in northern Australia. Please follow Parks and Wildlife Service Western Australia's Turtle Watching Code of Conduct available on their website flatbacks.dbca.wa.gov.au
Do you have electric vehicle charging facilities at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park?
Yes. Powered sites at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park are 15amps and can be used to plug in your vehicle. However, please note that power is limited due to our remote location and reliance on generators. There are also very limited EV charging facilities in our remote area and vast distances between towns, so travelling in this part of remote Western Australia in a fully electric vehicle may not be possible.
Is Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park pet friendly?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park due to the beach being a Marine Park.
Can you bring service/assistance dogs on site?
While the park doesn't allow pets due to the beach being a Marine Park, certified trained assistance animals and approved assistance animals are permitted at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park as long as proof documentation is provided prior to or on arrival.
Is there TV reception without a satellite?
Yes! There is television reception at Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park without requiring a satellite.
